Dubai, located in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), is a global city known for its rapid development, luxurious lifestyle, and futuristic architecture. Situated on the southeast coast of the Arabian Gulf, it is the most populous city in the UAE and a key financial and business hub in the Middle East. 

Originally a small fishing and trading settlement, Dubai's transformation began in the late 20th century with the discovery of oil. However, unlike many oil-rich regions, Dubai diversified its economy, investing heavily in tourism, real estate, aviation, and finance. Today, it is home to iconic landmarks such as the Burj Khalifa—the tallest building in the world—and the Palm Jumeirah, a man-made island shaped like a palm tree. 

 Dubai's cultural landscape is a blend of traditional Arab heritage and modern global influences. While the city celebrates Islamic traditions, it is also known for its cosmopolitan population, with expatriates making up over 85% of its residents. Tourism plays a major role in Dubai’s economy, attracting millions of visitors each year. Attractions include luxury shopping malls, desert safaris, theme parks, and annual events like the Dubai Shopping Festival and Expo City exhibitions. Despite being in a desert climate, Dubai boasts innovative infrastructure including indoor ski resorts, lush golf courses, and one of the world’s busiest airports. With a vision aimed at innovation and sustainability, Dubai continues to be a symbol of ambition and modernity in the Arab world.
